WebI've lost count of the number of times a local has spoken about not liking people from the South. It seems to me that back home nobody has an opinion on northerners as a whole, but up here I've been made to feel very unwelcome at times by even some of my northern friends who've said in my presence that they don't like southerners. WebI think that's part of why southern people get stick because they're considered privileged or whatever. People at uni will probably be alright and maybe tease you a bit. Maybe some local northerners might treat you with disdain but it shouldn't be a big deal. Most people will be friendly if you're a nice person. 2.
