WitrynaOptical setups are often mounted on optical tables, which provide a high flexibility and are well isolated against vibrations. They usually have a regular area of threads, where the thread spacing and diameter can be based on metric or imperial units, e.g. with spacings of 25 mm or 1 inch. WitrynaSince then, optics has continued to grow at the University, which is now home to over 25 faculty across numerous departments and colleges who are involved in state-of-the-art research and engineering in modern optics and photonics. Nine faculty have their primary home in the Optics and Photonics Lab in EECS.
