The tach function is working fine, so it’s obviously seeing a signal, but the strobe light will not light up. I’ve tried it on several vehicles and it’s the same results. No MSD ignitions or anything crazy like that. Auto Zone sells one that has multi-meter functions as well as Dwell and Tach for about $30. The multi-meter functions are analog, but might come in handy.
