It's a GM 8.5 inch 10-bolt with all new Eaton 30-spline posi, Richmond 3.90 gears, Moser 30-spline axles, installation kit, etc. I am having the pinion and carrier bearing pressed on by a local shop later this week. http://chevellestuff.net/qd/generic_rear_axle_info.htm

I haven't checked the ID of both ring gears before, but they could be the same. They both take the same bearings and they both have the same splines on the axles.
