Fifty years ago, when they were student activists, they were run out of town after exposing racism and challenging the town's segregation laws. From Moree, Lindy Kerin reports. By-laws prohibited Aboriginal people from going to pubs or clubs or the swimming baths in Moree, and they were not allowed to walk on the sidewalk or play football in the local team.
